"I only do this to offer guidance & healing I hope will bring you closer to peace & joy"

I believe my ability to connect to spirit is an ancestral gift passed from generation to generation, stemming from my Indigenous roots and heritage. I have come to understand that many family members have some connection to spirit and utilize their gifts in different ways.  I remember being introduced to my ability to hear and connect to spirit when I was 7 years old. My grandmother passed away, and I remember hearing her voice as if I could hear her in the room. My connection to her was so frequent; it felt like it was something so natural and normal. I didn't really think it was anything unusual. Looking back, I believe she has guided me and shared with me the many ways my gift has offered guidance to others and has kept me confident in the unconditional love of sharing messages with kindness, empathy, and love. It took me a very long time to come into my gift. To believe that what was happening was really spirit and an opportunity to offer healing to others. It wasn't until I healed from a lifetime of harm and hurt that I began to hear not only my grandmother's voice but family members and loved ones of other people.

When I began to understand the extent of my ability to offer guidance and healing, I felt so compelled to learn more, seek answers to questions related to the metaphysical, wanting to be closer to the universal source, understand the gift of empathic connection, meditation for a deeper understanding and the feeling that I was smaller than the profound nature of the universal energy that we all share. I went on a "metaphysical store tour," as I called it when I traveled around Indiana seeking understanding and community within so many different metaphysical spaces. I leaned into my gift and I allowed the energy from my small collection of crystals (small at the time) to expand the energy from within me. I purchased my first tarot deck, and I was often compelled to offer messages to people along the way (with a less than moderate amount of confidence).

As my connection to spirit grew, so did my understanding of universal energy. I began to connect more deeply, offer messages to people more regularly, and in return, I received heartfelt thank yous that were often accompanied by tears of healing from those I had the opportunity to share a moment with. I was fortunate to walk into a few amazing metaphysical shops that supported my gift and encouraged me to continue my journey of offering messages. This led to the opportunity to work professionally, and eventually open my own business while forming a new family of healers, empaths, witchy witches, reiki masters, artists, and clients/friends. I am grateful for the mindfulness to remain open to spirit and the messages that help me grow and learn ways to continue to offer guidance and healing that I hope will take the many people I have the privilege of meeting closer to peace and joy.
